I'm working on a project for demented people in large format (200 x 100 cm) to put on the canvas. Why? Because the people who gave us prosperity, be put on the side of society. There's too many cuts in health care in the Netherlands, so that the dementia literally in the chair waiting for their death. There is no time and money for these 'oldies'. They cost the community a lot of money and do not add to this insane performance society. I want to enter into the debate through these paintings that these people, even though they need dementia, love, warmth and attention of people involved. The media is full of the refugee problem, but this group seems to have forgotten.
